Coastal Containers Delivery Requirements

Is Your Site Ready for Delivery?
To make your delivery smooth and hassle-free, we need to ensure our truck and trailer can safely find, and get to your desired drop spot. A few minutes of checking now can prevent any surprises on delivery day.
Our delivery rig is a one-ton pickup truck (like a Ram 3500 or Ford 350) pulling a 40-foot gooseneck trailer. Please review the space requirements below.
2. The Path In: Width & Height
We need a clear, straight path from the main road to the final drop location. Please look for obstacles like narrow gate posts, tight turns, overhanging tree branches, or low utility lines.
Entrance Width: Depends on the approach angle and the room needed to swing into the entrance.
Required Width: The path needs to be at least 12 feet wide.
Required Vertical Clearance: We need at least 14 feet of height from the ground to the lowest overhead obstruction.
3. The Drop Zone: Straight-Line Clearance
This is the most important measurement. To place your container, our driver tilts the trailer bed up, rests the back end of the container on the ground, and then drives straight out from under it. This requires a lot of straight, unobstructed room in front of the container's final resting place.
For a 40-foot Container: You need approximately 120 feet of straight-line clearance. (That’s 40 feet for the container itself, plus about 80 feet for our truck and trailer to pull completely clear.)
For a 20-foot Container: You need approximately 100 feet of straight-line clearance. (That’s 20 feet for the container, plus the same 80 feet for our truck and trailer.)
4. Surface & Site Preparation
Ground Conditions: Please ensure the ground on the path and at the drop site is firm, dry, and level. Our rig is very heavy, and we cannot drive on soft or unstable surfaces like mud, loose sand, or overly saturated lawns.
Blocks & Leveling: Your container can be placed directly on the ground. If you prefer to place it on blocks (like concrete blocks or railroad ties), you must provide them. While we do not supply blocks, our driver may assist you with placing the container onto the blocks you have ready on-site. The final, precise leveling of the container is the customer's responsibility.

Delivery Checklist:
Still Not Sure? No Problem.
The best way to confirm is to send us a few pictures or a short video of the path from the road to your desired drop spot. We're happy to take a look and give you our professional opinion. Our goal is a safe and successful delivery, every time.
Your chosen drop site must be cleared, prepped, and ready for delivery before our truck arrives.
Before You Order: Please take a moment to enter your delivery address into Google Maps and switch to the Satellite View. Confirm that the pin marks the correct property and the actual drop location is visible.
What If My Address is Wrong or Missing? If the map pin is incorrect, or if you have a new address that doesn't show up yet, we will need GPS coordinates. You can easily get these from Google Maps on your phone by dropping a pin on the exact desired delivery spot.
How to Send Coordinates: Please provide the coordinates in the standard "Decimal Degrees" format (e.g., 28.7845, -95.6277).
1. Verifying Your Delivery Location
A successful delivery starts with finding the right spot. To prevent any delays, we require that your delivery address be accurately located on Google Maps.
This step is essential. An accurate address or set of coordinates ensures our driver can find you without any issues, keeping your delivery right on schedule.
